At The Foil Board Shop, we are proud to bring you the best quality and most high-performance hydrofoils and foil boards on the market.
It all started back in 2018 when I visited a friend in Western Australia where foil board surfing and sup foiling was already very popular. When I returned to the UK, I didn’t wait long to get my first hydrofoil and dive into the world of foil surfing.
By the end of 2019, we were in search of a brand selling full carbon/high-performance foil kits. This is when we came across Unifoil Hydrofoil followed by Appletree Surfboards and Amos Shapes. But it wasn’t as easy to buy foil boards as we would have liked. That’s when we got the idea to open The Foil Board Shop! Now, we’ve introduced some of the words best foil brands to fellow passionate water enthusiasts in the UK who are looking to buy the same high-quality products we were.
Our goal is simple: to get you the foil boards and foil equipment that will help you progress, pushing your foiling to the next level and getting you frothing more than ever before! We also want to get you equipment that will last you many years to come, saving you money and equally helping the planet to recover from poorly made products that otherwise may end up in landfills.
At Foil Board Shop we are surfers who love to shred whether it is on a surfboard, skateboard, snowboard, wing, kite, or foil board. But we can say that foil surfing became our favourite water sport because hydrofoils combine the feeling of surfing and snowboarding.
We ride and test each and every product we sell, so you can be sure they’re quality items that are fun to use. We really know our stuff and you can trust us when we say something is good. We are based in a lovely fishing town in Newquay, in Cornwall which is famous for its beautiful beaches and countless surf breaks. Surprisingly, not many people know about Newquay’s world-class foil spots. This is why we also run a demo centre so anyone with competent surfing skills can come and try our demo foils free of charge.
