The Skipper Downwind SUP has a generous and forgiving outline which makes it perfect to get into the world of Downwind SUP foiling.  The Skipper has a signature tail design that will help driving though choppy water and the foil box is perfectly positioned using Appletree’s new 17 inch tracks.

The DW Skipper is available in two versions: narrow and wide, allowing you to choose riding it long & narrow or wide &short depending on if you are chasing open ocean swells or short period lake runs.

All Appletree boards are made with a 100% waterproof inner core, so you can sleep better at night that your new DW SUP is literally bomb proof.

The Skipper wing is part of the Skipper concept of boards. 4 boards with the same design language, but tuned for the specific needs of each discipline.

The Skipper concept revolves around a new hull concept. The boards are thin throughout, giving a connected feel to the foil. Under the front foot, the bottom features a unique “bulge” that actually sits slightly lower than the foil box.

This bulge displaces water upon touchdown and it makes the board “skip” back up. Ideal for foam bashes and more radical wing foiling in the surf.
