The site offers exhilarating rides, seamlessly connecting various sections for up to 7 minutes of free-flying bliss.
For seasoned surfers, the prime season runs from March to November, when the southern hemisphere sends a consistent influx of at least 2 swells per week, each covering impressive distances of 4km or 2.5 miles. To fully capitalize on the extensive and thrilling rides, visitors are advised to condition their legs in advance.
Nestled between the ocean and the coastal desert of La Libertad Region in the central coast of Peru, Chicama, also known as Malabrigo Port, is a natural and historical gem situated 85km north of Trujillo. Easily accessible within a 1:30-hour drive from Trujillo, which serves as the closest city and airport, Chicama Boutique Hotel & Spa offers transfer services to and from Trujillo’s airport.
